Welcome

This is how Sporting Scouter writes — voice, terminology, and channel guidance for organizers-first B2B product copy. Use it when you write marketing, product UI strings, email, legal pages, or social posts.

Who this is for

  • Product and engineering — before shipping UI strings in all four locales
  • Marketing and growth — www and /business/ copy
  • Translators and agencies — glossary-first workflow
  • Agents and developers — source for the Cursor content-design-system skill

What lives elsewhere

Design system

Component-enforceable mechanics (buttons, dialogs, errors, density). Authority for PR review.

Brand guidelines

Brand foundation, visual identity, messaging hierarchy. Repo: docs/BRAND_GUIDELINES.md v2.0.

How to use this guide

Browse by section in the sidebar, or start with TL;DR for a one-page cheat sheet. When a rule can be failed in a code review (sentence case on a button, dialog title format), the design system voice page is the enforcement layer — this guide explains why and gives channel-specific examples.

Organizer-first: default audience is event organizers (B2B). Athletes and participants are secondary unless the surface is athlete-facing (www event pages, feedback.*).
